I would disconnect the tank and use premix at 50/1 ratio, 16 oz oil to 6 gal gas. Not sure how to tell you how to disconnect it, but am sure some one can.

No !!!! How do you know that the oil pump is not working ? What are the symptoms ? I assume you have an oil alarm. The oil pump might not be working..... plastic gear on crank turns oil pump gear, oil pumped at pressure opens valve at 2 psi and mixes oil with fuel. Sometimes plastic gear fails. All this on port side of motor i.e. before the fuel reaches the fuel pump. If the alarm sounds the plastic gear might have failed and the pump might not be working so keeping the tank full won't help. There are loads of other reasons why you can get get an oil alarm. (Like loss of supply to coil serving no. 4 cyl, faulty alarm module, faulty oil pump motion sensor, faulty oil reservoir float switch, bad earths etc.) Also don't think the pump is working because you can see loads of smoke at idle, as there is sufficient crankcase pressure in the oil reservoir to push enough oil past a non working pump at idle but not at higher revs!
