Hi,
I need to remove the top/cap/shell off my 18' boat in order to redo deck/stringers/transom. What is the best procedure to do this. I understand you need to remove the rub rail and drill out the rivets. My problem is how to lift it off. I am working on this project outside in the driveway. I am thinking about pulleys and a 2x4 frame system. Any advice/tips are greatly appreciated. Another thought is whether or not it is possible to lift it off with a few friends....
