1986 200 etxj bogs weak and no spark

1986 200hp etxj starts good but bogs down bad with a litt of rpms this is happening with no load it has pretty good spark at idle but litt or none with a litt gas only one cyln had good spark that when you took off the wire it changed the engine sound like it should so i took off coil on the good spark and put it on one with no spark no change the one that had spark stiil had spark all plugs are wet after running i steel wooled stator no change changed cdi with a used one no change couid stator be bad not to many stator problems it looks like on the post im not to good with volt meter this engine sat for a year when i swapped it and took it for a test run it ran great for 20 min then i put it in neut then back in gear bogged down bad never to return thought crap in carbs rebuilt them same prob any heip would be great thanks

my buddy had the same symptoms, he changed the cdi and coils no help.. ended up just being a shorted wire. sounds like you might have a short in the wiring.

thanks thats what im thinking so i pulled the stator and trigger off then i said before i start throwing parts at this thing ill put it back together then it ran great no bogging rev up so i was happy for a min then it stalled and now it doesnt start at all it sounds like its out of time its driving me crazy maybe a short in the stator or trigger thanks again

Start with the carbs and then make sure the battery is fully charged.
