HI folks I hope this is not a redundant question. I recently replaced the water pump impeller and gaskets in my 1986 200 since it was running hot at slow speeds.I pulled the thermostats and poppit valve and checked all the passages for flow/obstructions with compressed air and garden hose. I have great flow thoughout, when I shoot the hose up the tube coming from the water pump with the lower unit removed I get great flow out of both thermostat housings /poppit housing and telltale. After reassembling and running on the earmuffs water I have no flow to the top of the engine. Disassembled again and checked the impeller and key all seems assembled ok. The 2 gaskets were identical to the old ones. Any ideas? Thank you, Todd

Why do you think you have no flow to the top of the motor? Unless the thermostats open you wont have anything coming out the pee hole.
