1986 60hp evenrude prop question

Hi everyone,

I have a 1986 20' Sweetwater pontoon with the above engine. The prop that is on there now is a 13.75 - 15. I'm hoping somebody in here knows if this sounds right for my engine/boat. The boat has no tach, or speedometer, but to me goes pretty good, especially out of the hole. I am looking to buy another prop, and was wanting to know the pros and cons of going up or down with the pitch.

You would need to know your current maximum RPM's in order to give a accurate answer. But I would say that the 15" prop might be a little steep. I would guess that a 13" would be closer, if not an 11". I had a 90' 20' Sweetwater with a 70 HP Evinrude on it and ran a 13" prop...
