1986 Bayliner Capri Mercury Force 120 Tilt/Trim goes down slowly

I am new to this forum, and a newbie to boating. I purchased this boat for a great price, and the motor runs great. The only issue I am having, is that the tilt/trim will not keep motor up. It will raise fine, but once raised it starts slowly going down. Here is the Model # for the motor: 1251X8C. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Start by reading through this thread. There is a leak down test procedure at the very end to ID which component is causing the leak down.
