What do I need to do to disconnect the VRO and VRO alarm? It seems to work fine now, but from what I read it coould malfunction and cause serious problems.

I'm not real mechanically savvy so, please try to explain in a layman's terms. I know where it is and where the oil tube goes, but not sure what to do about the wiring or what else is involved with the procedure.

Thanks for any advice and assistance!

Fairly easy. Just dissconnect the wiring. The horn will not sound until the connection is made.

Think of it this way. You have a light switch that turn on/off a light bulb. If the switch is not there, then nothing can cause the light to go on.

As to the oil line. Just take off at the pump and cap it with a vacuum hose cap from auto store. Mask sure you clamp it after pushing it on. Look at my motor rebuild. You will see the cap on mine when I did the same thing.
