I have a 20 rude sitting on 17' bluefin sportsman. - Trying to give it a bit more punch. Read many forums about upgrading 20hp rude to 30hp and acquired a 35hp carb off 79' rude with silencer from the local flea market - $20. Does anyone know if it will fit? Or do I need 30hp carb off 85-87 model?
Also, what is the difference between 1986 20, 25 and 30hp carbs - from laymens perspective they look identical except for different size orifice plug???
