I'm working on rebuilding my carb on my motor. And it looks like I'm not the first one to attempt this as some of the screws were over torgued or stripped all together. I'm having problems getting the screw that sits under the float out where I believe the needle valve sits in. I don't know a whole lot about doing this stuff as this is the second time I've ever did this instead of paying someone to do it for me. Id rather try and learn than not. Any suggestions on how to get this out as it is over torgued and won't move

Need a big bladed screwdriver -- fit the whole slot. Should be soaking the top and bottom halves anyway after some disassembly, so soak with the valve installed -- try removing it again after soaking. Other option is to just leave it in place and reuse it after soaking, as long as the orifice isn't damaged. Might be stuck in place with old varnished fuel.
