1986 johnson 25 horse

HI, I own a 1986 johnson 25 horse model J25RCD. my brother used my boat and somehow lost the prop off of it it is a 13 tooth spline shaft can anyone tell me what pitch I should use. it is a non thru hub exhaust. I can get it in a 9 10 11 12 pitch. thank you

Tell us more about the boat,its weight your typical load and activities.

I have a 16ft john boat. I mianly use it for duck hunting and fishing. it is 900lbs with persons motor and gear. or 680lbs just the boat I mainly have two or four persons in the boat at any given time. thank you for your reply.

I think I would go with the 10" You should follow that with a tach to confirm your rpm.I tinytach is reasonable,easy to install and will fit any similar motor without regard to stator poles.Motor needs to operate within its rpm range.
With the max rpm,prop size and speed(gps) we can tell how well your setup is working and if you need to refine your setup further for best performance and motor health.
