Hello all. My motor started making a grinding type noise when in reverse yesterday. sounded pretty bad unless you went to almost full throttle then sounded normal. Earlier I put the boat in reverse ( with the motor off ) and turned the prop by hand like it was in reverse. The only thing I noticed was a linkage of some sort running down the front of the lower unit seemed to be popping against the casing of the lower unit. Also, forward gear runs fine.
