1986 merc 150 xr2 good engines ?

I guess i should have asked this question before i bought my boat and motor, but i just wanted to know if their any major issues with this motor ?
I have one with the engine loading up at slow speeds, At fast speeds above 2000 rpm's it runs very well, same for the idle and starting the motor. I feel bad for the people behind me in the no wake zones !
Any way its at the dealer for carb sync/cleaning ect...

I have the same motor; it runs well. The dealer should get the low speed carb settings right for you and you will have a great motor.​
