1986 merc 75 HP

I have a 86 75 HP merc,I've had it for about 2 years now and it runs fine. About mid summer last year i had a friend do a compression check because it would build RPM'S slow untill after 3000 rpm's,but from 3000-5400 it would build pretty fast.Got me thinking so i called my local outboard dealer to ask ?n's they recomended that i do a compression check.Results where #1 80 #2 75 #3 70 and couldn't get to the fourth cyl so i don't know what it is?My ? is what is the ideal compression reading for these motors?

Those readings are kinda low. I would have it done again by someone else with a different gauge.
