Morning Everybody.
I'll just get right to the point. I just got a steal of a deal on a Regal Empress 200XL w/ a running Mercruser 190
($1000) She Runs and works (mostly) and floats. BUT, It's a little rough around the edges. I have some electrical issues, Not major prob just a bum switch or fuse, -Blower motor wont turn on. -Some Lights don't Work Ect. Small 1 Hr Project type stuff.
My Major concern is i have a few soft spots on the deck & would like to replace it. How Difficult is it to do this? Pretty sure i can handle it, but have never done it before so it's a 100% learning curve for me.
Also there are a few small spots where the fiberglass is exposed on the hull. Not deep, but wore the paint off. I saw somewhere, where someone used a smooth roll on bedliner type stuff (Herculiner) to seal and protect the hull. My only issue with that is i'm not sure how i could ever get it off if i needed to for repairs or W/E.
Any input from the you folks would be GREATLY appreciated.
