1987 15 hp new owner

Hello to all, I just bought a 1987 15 hp evinrude and was wondering where I could get a good service manual from. I don't have the model number on me or I would post it. The ones that I have seen seem to cover a variety of models and hp's . Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Check ebay for a OMC service manual. It covers just a single model year for similar motors, e.g. 1987 15/20hp. I just bought one a few weeks ago for my 25hp.

try to find a manual that is just for the 9.9/15 hp motor. The ones that have other motors are just not that good. I have an 85 15hp motor and am using a manual for an 81 motor and it is just fine, I have both and trust me the single motor manual is way better than the manual with all of the other motors.
