I picked up a little 15 horse and thought I would just rebuild the carb to get it running. As always it's not that easy. The carb body cover has a crack in it. It almost feels like cast aluminum. Anyways I looked up the part online and noticed it does not look the same. I also noticed that the carb body part number is off of a 1992. For a 1987 you have to order a kit with the lean idle adjustment screw and it is $130 bucks. Because the carb body is a 1992 I looked and found I could get a just the carb body for 20 bucks so I ordered that one. It showed up today and It looks identical to the one in the picture for the 1987 kit however the channels inside are not exact. The question are : is this an updated version that will work for mine.

The location that the cam roller screws into has a 1 inch plastic leg sticking out instead of a threaded hole for the cam roller screw. I noticed the $130 dollar carb cover kit looks the same. What do I do?
