1987 60 hp mariner help

Thanks for ur help guys new to this boat stuff.

First is there a THERMOSTAT in my 1987 60 hp mariner.

Second is there and uper and lower water pump and should water always be running out of the tube in the back of the motor also whats is that tube called so i don't sound stupid again

Third advise on a good motor manual.

well ok one pump but can any1 help with the othere questions like should water be running out of the rubber hose in the back of motor at ideal at all times
