My 1987 ( or thereabouts ) 90hp evinrude is using alot of gas. I have a 17 foot Boston Whaler. At 3500 Rpm's ( which is all I need to get the boat planed ) I go through 6 gallons of gas an hour.
Is this normal? All I do is drive back and forth to the marina to purchase gas. They love me there !!

This is a duplicate post.Your question was answered a few days ago.Guess you weren't happy with that one either.Perhaps a third would be the charm.

There is, however, a solution to your problem---more gas tanks.

Good observation ob. You are correct, I did ask the same question a few days ago. However, that was before the weekend when I , gulp , filled her up again, and again, and .........

MAybe next weekend will be better. If not , round 3 ???????

PS Jack , if I have 2 gas tanks , will I go twice as far ??
