My rear seats backrest needs replaced. The backrest is hinged for opening to gain access to the steering linkage and to the electro-mechanical lift and other things at the rear of the motor. It is paded along the top. Does anyone know where i could find a new replacement. Also does anyone know the actual name for this. I have not been able to find anything online. Thanks for any help.

Best bet is to go to a custom shop with the old one. That way you get exactly what you want.

Ayuh,.... Those sorta parts for a 25 year old bayliner aren't something found on the shelf,...

Either rebuild it yerself, or try a local Upholstery Shop...

Its just a piece of plywood with foam and vinyl on it. Take the vinyl off the existing one and cut some new plywood to the exact shape and take it to an upholstery shop for them to replace the vinyl.
