I got my hands on an 87 Evinrude 110 and I am currently in the process of rebuilding it. I have it stripped down to the block and will hopefully have it at the machine shop this weekend to get it honed and bored. I do not know tons about boat motors so some of these questions may seem stupid but please bear with me. Has anyone changed one of these over to an electric fuel pump? Is it even possible? My next big thing I a looking at are options for a little more performance out of it. I have seen alot of people talk about cutting the intake manifold to let each cylinder breather from both barrels on one of the carbs instead of just getting air from one barrel. Is that something worth doing or are there any other options?

Leave the motor stock like it is and if you need more performance buy a bigger motor. JMO

That motor is already making as much power as it is.ever going to and be reliable. Use the mechanical pump off of the 88 hp motor instead of an electrical one.
