ok i have an evinrude 70 hp with no spark. i replaced the power pack, rectifier and put in new ngk plugs and still no spark. it quit on me at full throdle on the river. i know all of the grounds are good because it will crank im just not getting spark. some one told me to check the stator but i thought the stator just charged the battery kinda like an alternator on a car. does the stator have anything to do with spark??
