could be a whole bunch of things, fuel line sucking air could do it. follow the instructions in my sig. that will begin to eliminate things and maybe you will find your problem.

You could do a simple fuel pump test. When the engine is running and you are accelerating, have someone constantly prime the fuel hose bulb. This will force extra fuel into the carbs. If it takes off and runs wide open throttle as long as you keep pumping the fuel hose bulb, it's a fuel delivery problem. Which could be a fuel pump issue, fuel hose bulb, anti-siphon valve issue, etc.

Trouble shooting on these crossflow engines starts with a compression test.-----------Sudden failure of piston rings is common on these motors.

Yea ..i did a troubleshoot started with pressure all four check out with 105,110,115,and 120 ..then the spark all jumped the 7/16 gap. I had rebuild the carbs and fuel pump the other day so i went a head and replaced the fuel line ...and it is running good ..it gave me a hard to start once so i look arround and noticed that there was a gap between the shocke lever and the arm that pushes it so ajusted that screw so is tight against it not to push it but with a little pressure so it holds it a bit and seems like it woked ....so will see how it do on the water this weekend ....so thanks guys for all of the imput ..ill keep in touch
