1987 Force 125 Ignition Switch Problem

I was under my dash looking for a tach wire, just looking and now my boat won't turn over. I can jumper across the solenoid, it turns sterter, but my key switch has no 12v at batt. connecter. I thought I would trace my red Batt. wire on switch back but where does it originate at on engine, I also have no 12V at Batt. connector on
electrical board on side of engine. any help appreciated,

There is a circuit breaker on the engine, near the terminal strip.

My guess is that some bare wire(s) touched under the dash while you were looking, and the circuit breaker tripped.
