1987 force 50 hp "c" model

Tracked my problems down to the head gasket. Just received a new one but does anyone know the torque sequence and specs? Also, do I install it dry or with sealant. Any replies appreciated!

Just a heads up. If you intend to do serious work on these motors, just spend the $25.00 and get a Clymer manual. They are definitely well worth it.

Table 2 says 270 inlbs, but do this in increments

20 ft#s I go to 17- then up to 20.
New gasket,no retourqe.
Some people try to use the old.
