i have a 1987 force 85hp. it is not giving me full power,when i give it full throttle it does not go full speed,its like it will not go into passing gear. it goes into gear just fine. it is making a noise that sounds like i have a loose gear in the lower unit but i dont know. i would like to be able to fix it myself instead off buying a new lower unit. i dont know if something needs tightend up or what.
