Hi guys I've posted about this before but did not get a response so I'll simplify my question.

My trim is bouncing bad on the way down and is free falling from the full tilt position down to the slow speed rams when I hit the trim button (it's not falling on its own , only when the trim button is activated )

I tried to add fluid and bleed the system , had no effect.

There is a hard metal tube going from the bottom of the resiviour to the top of the big trim ram and the bolt that screws into the trim ram has corroded away but there is nothing leaking from there , the tube is still snug in place. Can anyone tell me what this line does and can it be causing my issue maybe letting air into the system? But it's not letting water in.

Have you greased the tilt tube; maybe it's sticking and then freefalling when the pressure is releived.
