My fuel pump (non-VRO) is spraying fuel from between the black screen/filter cap assembly (322759 #4 on diagram) and the tan wagon-wheel-looking "cap to pump gasket" (312679 #2 on diagram) now that I've replaced that gasket. The thing that is bothering me is the cap assembly has a rubber o-ring that isn't mentioned in my OEM manual and isn't present on my parts diagrams. I've got to be missing something here. My next thought is either to try to pick up any old o-ring of similar dimensions and/or buy the cap assembly and hope it comes with a new o-ring. The old oring visibly looks fine but I can't think of what else the problem would be. It sprays an absurd amount of fuel when I pump the bulb. Tried without the oring too. It's driving me nuts because it's so simplistic.

Thanks in advance,
