1987 merc 260 comp ski harmonic balancer

is it ok to use a auto harmonic balancer in place of a mercruiser oem. if so does anyone have the part # for it. The oem part number is 75420. i know gm used 2 different balancers and the key was set in a different relation to the timing mark on both. the problem is the current balancer may not be the original and i don't know if it was replaced with the right one. thanks

There's a few more than 2, 'n I don't know whatcha got, nor need...
What diameter is it,..??
Is the block/ motor an 87,..??

the balancer measures 6 3/4" across and the motor/ block is a 87

please help i have motor serial # or anything else you may need. Just don't know where to find equivalent auto part #
