1987 Mercruiser 470 manual?

Recently purchased an 87 glasstron sx-19 with my son. I found a multi-model service manual for its Mercruiser motor but wanted to know if anyone knew where to find a model specific manual.

Sounds like you found a knee pad (clymer or seloc manual)... Better to stick to the factory manual...

In the case of a 1987 '470' engine (make sure it is a 1987 engine as it can be a different year engine than boat), the correct manual for the engine is #8, and for the drive #6...

You can find good used manuals on fleabay, CL, etc, or you might find a PDF one online that violates copyright.

Somewhat off topic, but is it still possible to share files through the new software's PM's? Like if one hypothetically wanted to share a completely non copyrighted file that totally wasn't a manual for example?
