1987 omc cobra 4.3 2V not firing

Hey guys i have a 1987 renken with a OMC 4.3 2V strendrive and i was tuning it up replacing the distributor and rotor both fuel filters (water separator and filter) also changed the oil. The boat was stalling out but not dying but after replacing everything above it stopped firing and the starter went out. Replace the starter cranking fine but wont turn over its not getting any spark. Please Help
