1987 V4 Looper VRO Fuel Pump Replacement

Hi. Factory VRO pump is shot and want to get away from oil injection.. Can I use a lift pump off of a 2003 V6 150 as a replacement to get fuel to my carbs. I will be using premix fuel. thanks

Was the vro still pumping fuel ?? What was problem with it ?? Have you checked the price on that 2003 lift pump ??

the 2003 pump will work with different fittings on it and a 4 wire wiring harness conversion if your old pump had a 3 wire alarm circuit.

Are you talking about a fuel lift pump off of an FFI or a vro ??

You can use a non VRO lift pump with your engine. Just make sure it provides the same fuel volume that you require. Some aftermarket parts companies have them prebuilt (some use two pumps) and a little investigation on the internet will probably turn them up.
