I'm with TD, I don't think it is a throttle problem, sounds like a dirty carbs problem.
Get an OEM manual(not Clymers/Seloc or anything on CD) here at iboats and clean the carbs after you pull the airbox and confirm that the throttle plates are opening all the way.
I wouldn't adjust anything till I got the manual, you are more than likely just going to throw it off if you do, the timing is tied to the throttle linkage so if you adjust one you adjust both and it can be a real pain to get it right again.
Your motor has jets, when they get dirty they don't allow the proper amount of gas to get to the carbs making it run like you say it is, there is nothing to turn or adjust, the jets determine how much gas the motor gets.
And don't run the boat anymore till you get this done, the cylinders that aren't getting gas aren't getting any oil either and it is very hard on the crankshaft to have some cylinders hitting and others not.
