Hi guys IM having a problem getting my engine to idle below 1000 rpm. It run and idles fine from 1000 rpm on up but will stall below 1000 rpm This motor has sat for 3 years. It was fogged before storage. I have rebuilt the carb and decarbonized the motor, compression is also good There was alot of carbon build up in this motor. Thanks for your help.

Make up a bottle of premix fuel/oil. Start her up and get it warm. Slowly back off the throttle to where it starts missing and squirt some of the premix directly into the carb. If it picks up you still have some crud in the carb.

The low speed jet is still clogged...or one of those little tiny passages that rebuilding the carb doesn't address..pull it again and apart and get a can of carb soak
