This prob has been haunting me all season. first it started out bogging down to 2000 rpm then it would jump back on plane. well put new stator, new regulator, new plugs, stripped down and rebuilt carbs cleaned all jets and ports. had it out on the water and had a buddy with me pulled off cover and started pulling plug wires had spark on right side looking at back of motor and no spark on left side. well tried to go again it went had him come off plane to idle checked for spark and it was there. tried to go again it started to bog checked again no spark...... please help i do not have a dva tester . i have a manual but its like reading sterio music... i did check the readings at the plug from the power pack ground to A B C D had readings on all points on the side that wouldn't fire and only 3 reading on the side that would fire. could this pack be bad. any help would be great......

Swap packs...see if the prob follows the pack.

Disconnect the black/yellow wires from both packs and see what happens.

I'd try the test that bonair has recommended. The packs are identical, one for each head. It's a simple test. An inductive timing light will help determine which plugwires are firing or not.
