1988 150XP Replacing VRO

Since I have recently disabled the VRO (going with premix), is there a replacement fuel pump that can be used in place of the VRO system? I'd hate to spend that kind of $$ for the entire VRO fuel pump system, but it is what it is. Just thought that I'd ask the question.

Find the pump off of a pre-vro V6 engine I believe they used twin pumps. The first year of VRO i believe is 1984 so 1983 and back is what you will need. Has the fuel side of the VRO pump gone bad because that can be rebuilt.

Not sure if the fuel side is bad. I've disconnected the VRO and run mixed fuel. Just looking ahead, if the pump is found to be not working properly. It's an old engine, and probably a matter of time. The engine has 484 hours on it.
