what is the reputation of the 1988 15hp Force, is this a good motor? are parts easy to get, is it a reliable motor
any info good or bad would be helpful

Parts are not as easy to get as evinrude/johnson and they are pricey.

they are great motors,I have a 1986 force 15 hp short shaft that still runs great today. They are also one of the lightest motor of there size weighing in around 70 lbs.I decided to change it to a long shaft and found a kit on ebay for longshaft extension. If you look around you can find parts.I just ordered an impellar for it off Iboats for only around 10 dollars-cheap.
