I recently acquired at 19ft 88 bayliner Capri. The interior is pretty decent for its age however it seems to be missing a piece that covers the area between the back to seats where the fuel tank and bilge sit. I don’t know what this cover is called or where to even find one. I have included a pic of a similar piece from a 17ft for reference. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I think that’s for an inboard. Mines an outboard. I’m not sure if I’m supposed to have something like this or if it’s just a piece of wood or something that covers the gap.

You`re going to have to post a pic. Bayliner decided to name all of their boats capri. On the 1900 with an outboard you should have an inset transom with a splash well. a unit of plywood shaped like \_/ from a birds eye view stands on end between the seats covered in carpet and hides the bilge area. on the exposed face a large square hole is cut into the plywood for access and is covered with a tarp of marine vinyl that's secured with buttons.

My 1400 should have a vinyl tarp in the \_/ shape secured with snap buttons. No plywood. Google bayliner capri 1900 and usually you will find a pic in a boat sale that's somewhat helpful.
