Figured rather than a thread for each question I'd start on so all issues can be gathered up in one.

So from another thread, use 50:1 oil mix, not the 100:1 as listed.

Now for my next issue; two parts:

I got an impeller kit and went to the garage this morning to start that project. There was oil dripping from an apparent weep hole on the opposite side of the gear oil screws, lower that the top screw. It's been in the garage about two months now with zero oil leaking. I got it fired up and ran for a few minutes about a month ago and no oil since that. I didn't run too long as I wanted to do the impeller first - but the urge to see if the free motor that sat for 14 years could start was too great.... I'm assuming there is a seal there, but would it just turn loose just sitting there about a month after being run?

Second issue is I can't break free the drain screws to drain the oil. I've got some liquid wrench sitting on it now, going to let it soak for a few hours but the screw driver has already slipped twice (that's when I gave up) even with almost all my 200 lbs on it while it was laying on the floor and am worried I'll kill the screw head. Is the liquid wrench soak the way to go or any other tips? Since I'm popping off the lower (two bolts found a 2014 thread here about that) and assuming I will not be able to get the screws out, is it possible once I replace the impeller that I can just fill up the lower with oil and bolt back on? Is there any access to do that once I have it out?

Get a hand impact wrench the kind you hit with a hammer to loosen the lower unit screws. The oil dripping could be oil that was just sitting in the motor I would not worry about that could have leaked out because of the angle. The impact should be something like this. Run 50-1 in your motor ignore the 100-1

Sucess. Custom ground a cold chisel to perfect size, a tough of heat from a troch and a hammer. Good news is oil is clean so what i saw dripping was not gear lube.

On to the impeller....

Ok that one work. I'm thinking 8, 9 and 10. But...... i did notice the gaskets on the drain screws were kinda puny so I think ill start with those. Got a good old ace hardware close by.

new rings on the drain screws didn't fix it.

To pressure test, I'm assuming I can just go to the hardware store and find brass fittings to match and put some air in one plug and my pressure gauge in the other? How much PSI?
