1988 70 hp evinrude carb kit question

I looked up the carb kits for my boat but the picture shows a gasket that mine doesn't have is it a generic pic or is this the wrong kit? the gasket I'm talking about is the one with the slots in it.

The kit is designed to fit various models, including yours. This eliminates the need to have a half dozen kits packaged. Discard the gaskets that are not needed.
