1988 70hp Yamaha's

I have a 1988 22' Boston Whaler Outrage with 1988 twin 70hp Yamaha's, and need help with a question. Here goes, Can I replace one of my engines with another YEAR Yamaha 70hp outboard and will it adapt to my existing controls etc. Any help would be appreciated. Johnny

Hi, Jofnny.<br /><br />You will get a lot better response if you post this in the Engines and Motors Forum.<br /><br />I don't see any reason why you can't swap years, but I don't KNOW.
