Serial #5903845 , starts good cold , runs good at no-load(even at moderate rpm)but as soon as I "stab" it to pull up a skier it stalls and dies,,, it will restart after pumping fuel bulb but then dies soon as it's in gear (tank vent is open !) Sounds like a fuel problem , right?

If the bulb in the fuel line is going soft, rebuild the fuel pump ($10).

The fuel pump operates on compression pulses from the engine, so if you have low compression, it may not maintain fuel pressure.

Check the compression, if it is below 100 on any cylinder, or if there is a greater than 15 # difference between cylinders, then to a decarb on your engine and try to recover your compression. The dieing under a load tends to be a compression problem.

Do a "search" for "decarb process" in the last 5 days, for details on the process.
