Would anyone be able to tell me the approximate value of a 1988 90 hp Yamaha 2 stroke? Motor has new power trim pump motor new seals in lower end (Tested) new water Pump....Just trying to get a rough idea Thanks for your help...Runs Excellent Looks good. Original paint and decals

All depends if the controls go with it or not. Just the engine, probably a grand. If you have the controls, then closer to a grand and a half. If its a freshwater engine, maybe a bit more. If a saltwater unit, may not sell at all due to its age.

Yamaha really outclassed Mercury when they brought outboards to the U.S. market in 1984 and 1985. Those engines are essentially bulletproof.

If it's a well maintained motor, go for it.
