1988 Astroglass Speedometer Upgrade

Recently purchased this. Looking to upgrade to a more accurate speedometer. Current version is the pilot tube type. Is there a compatible upgrade to use in place of the pilot tube?

No such thing as an accurate boat speedometer the best they do is get you in the ballpark. For accurate speed measurement a GPS is the only way to go.
