I am attempting to restore or at least replace the vinyl on the cushions attached to the insider rails of the boat. Any ideas on how to remove the cushions and re-install? It seems like there are some hidden screws inside the seams of the cushions but they are hard to find. Any tips or suggestions for easy removal and reinstallation is greatly appreciated.

Hi Jim, This particular question is probably better on the BOC site.

Anyway, as you know I have the '89 version of your boat (essentially the same thing), and the screws are hidden behind the vinyl overlaps. You can stick your hands up underneath on the inside of the gunwale and feel where they protrude and them find them throught the vinyl.

We bayliner owners are furtunate to have a aftermarket vinyl shop who was given the vinyl patterns from Bayliner and makes accurate reproductions, even for your year. search Kim Canvas Plus on the BOC site.
