I just got a 1988 Bayliner 1500 Capri in a trade and the interior has been previously redone. I'd like to do a restoration back to something factory style but a great deal of my interior framework is missing, can anyone please get me some detailed photos of the interior and if at all possible some info on the construction of the panels in terms of material and dimensions. All help is appreciated

I`m in the same boat. What I've been doing is googling for images and videos and trying to piece together what I see. I'd post pics, but it was converted into a fishing boat with astro turf for carpet and old fence planks for desk so it's of little value. What I can say is I`m remodeling it with a single bench 3 seats in a row including driver seat. The driver and passenger hubs have wrap around "bumpers" that go into the bow rider area. The Hull area sides I`m going with a carpeted plywood with a 5.5" X 77" padded bumper along the top encapsulating the speakers. The bow rider back rests/bumpers are going to be divided into 3 sections 5.5 X 27 5.5 X 23 and 5.5 X 9 inches respectively. I think the bow rider area should have a 3 seat design 2 side one front so the sitter would point to the stern. Could be wrong and the 2 long bench seats divided into 2 sections for a total of 6 cushions. The stern area looks like it should be covered with a snap in canvas cover. The only hull access I think can exist is the battery well under the middle seat on the bench. Hope this helps.
