1988 Bayliner 2560 Trophy with 5.7 GM and OMC Stern

Is engine reverse or forward? Want to install crated 5.7 and need to know rotation.

If it’s a single engine it will be standard rotation (I think what you’re calling fwd) on older dual engine set ups one will be reverse rotation, now it’s typically done I drive or transmission

There hasnt been a RH engine (reverse rotation) with a stern drive...

There also hasnt been a RH drive motor with inboards since the early 80s

Even if your 1988 boat had 2 or more motors, they would be standard rotation
