Greetings all,

I'm new to this forum, but am hoping some may be able to help me out a bit.
I stepped into my boat today for the first time all year (1988 Bayliner Capri 1750 - open bow) and noticed standing water in the back of it:( . I had a sinking (pun only partially intended  ) feeling that nothing good was about to happen. I stepped down and the floor was quite saggy. I'm hoping that drying it out may help a bit, but my guess is that I'm in for a floor restoration. That brings me here... :D
I'm hoping that someone might have a good reference on replacing the flooring and stringers - a step by step kind of thing, as I've never done this before. I mainly want to be sure that I'm not doing something that will endanger my boat's integrity. I thought of having a professional do it, but frankly, if I can't do it myself, it just won't be worth it to fix.
I know this isn't an uncommon problem to run into and I'm hoping some other people's experiences and tips can help make this a smooth process.
I'll be sure to post before, during, and after pics to keep anyone interested apprised.
