1988 cruisers barnegat 2460

I just bought this boat and it seems like maybe it was an orphan. I believe they only made it one year. Anyone out there own one?<br /><br />I have a couple of questions. Are you aware of any issues relating to construction, seaworthiness, or handling at speed.<br /><br />What is your top speed? I have a 260hp mercruiser with an Alpha 1. I am making 42mph on the gps.<br /><br />Any feeling on how it handles a beam sea?<br /><br />Thanks

If you already bought it,it is too late to worry too much.Good boat!!I almost bought one years ago.Bought a larger Welcraft instead.You should have plenty of luck with it. Charlie
