1988 Evinrude 200hp No Soark Help???

I just picked up a 1988 Evinrude 200hp outboard today. I did a compression check 100psi on all 6 cyl. However it does not have any spark. I am looking for things to check. I have not looked into it at all yet. It turns over fine tilt trim works and compression is good as is the lower unit. So what do I need to check first for the o spark??

Check the safety lanyard (kill switch) is in position.

Disconnect the black/yellow wire from the power pack. No spark, motor problem. Spark, boat wiring problem.

After you've checked the above-mentioned items and still have no spark, check this website for some good ignition troubleshooting tips: cdielectronics.com

Ok here is some more info. This motor is not on any boat. It is on my engine stand connected to a battery and has my spare control box red plug connector. Also the controls and harness with them work fine on my other boat motor. (meaning runs and sparks while using it)
