I bought a 88 Evinrude 25 HP. Something on the engine says the oil/gax mix is 100:1 . Is this correct? It does not have an oil injection system. Someone tells me the oil injection engines is 100:1 and the manual engines 50:1<br /><br />Please advise
Howdy, Jimsail.<br /><br />For a few years OMC recommended 100:1 mix, but after a few engine replacements due to siezures they went back to 50:1.<br /><br />I recommend that you use 50:1.<br /><br />Good luck.
